About Me

Hello! I am Bevin, a birth Doula based in Northern Ireland. I started Blissful Beginnings because I want to support and empower parents during their pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey.

I am incredibly passionate about all things birth and pregnancy related. My love for this type of work started when I became pregnant with my daughter in 2020. Being pregnant was a wonderful experience but it did not come without challenges! My pregnancy journey opened my eyes to some of the difficulties faced by expectant parents. This sparked a desire in me to want to make a difference by helping other parents.

Since then, I have dedicated myself to learning everything I can about birth, from the physiological aspects to the emotional wellbeing of both parents and babies.

Whilst pregnant, I hired a doula and found the individualised, continuous care and one-to-one support absolutely invaluable. Now I want to provide that same support and care to other expectant parents!

I live in Ballymena with my husband, daughter, our cat and our dog. During my down time I can usually be found with my family, sitting in front of the fire or out on a day trip.

I understand how crucial it is for you to feel informed and confident as you embark on this incredible adventure of welcoming a new life into your family. Through a variety of services, I aim to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and support you need to make informed decisions and create a positive experience.
